Providing ADOS-2 Assessments to Children 0-21 years old
At Little Spurs Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, we provide ADOS-2 assessments to children 0-21 years old in both English and Spanish. During our assessment, our primary goal is to determine whether or not your child is on the autism spectrum. While testing does not guarantee a diagnosis, we will answer any and all questions you have about your child’s development. If your child is determined to be on the autism spectrum, we will provide you with a medical diagnosis that you can use to begin different therapy services. Our initial visit takes approximately one hour and we use this time to obtain medical and developmental histories, perform clinical observations of your child and discuss what your concerns are. At this visit, developmental and autism screening may be obtained along with language assessment in preparation for further testing. |
ADOS-2 Assessment |
The ADOS-2 assessment is the “gold standard” assessment for Autism and takes approximately two hours to complete. During this time, our provider will evaluate communication skills, social interaction and imaginative use of materials with your child 1:1. |
Follow Up |
During the one hour follow up visit, our provider will review the results with caregivers, provide resources and recommend next steps. |
What You Need To Know
The insurance plan determines your co-pay, deductible or co-insurance amount. So you don’t have to pay more than you have to, our trained staff members will attempt to verify and confirm these amounts for you. Fees are due prior to treatment.
